Fungicide Application Affects Nitrogen Utilization Efficiency, Grain Yield, and Quality of Winter Wheat

چکیده
Nitrogen (N) is a vital component of crop production. Wheat yield varies significantly under different soil available N. Knowing how wheat responds to or interacts with N produce grains essential in the selection use efficient cultivars. We assessed this study variations among genotypes for productivity-related traits three cropping systems (CS), high-nitrogen fungicide (HN-WF), without (HN-NF) and low-nitrogen (LN-NF) 2015, 2016 2017 seasons. ANOVA results showed genotypes, CS, their interactions affected agronomic traits. Grain (GY) increased higher leaf chlorophyll content, importantly CS supply. Yellow rust disease reduced GY by 20% 28% 2015 2016, respectively. Moreover, averaged over growing seasons, was 23.78% supply, while it greatly increased, 52.84%, both application, indicating synergistic effect on GY. Fungicide supply improved ability accumulate during grain filling, hence protein content. Recently released cultivars outperformed older ones most including Genotype performance stability analysis production differences levels CS. The nitrogen recently across found suggest that resource efficiency can be via cultivar targeted

Photosynthesis, grain yield, and nitrogen utilization in rice and wheat.
Rice (Oryza sativa) and wheat (Triticum aestivum) are the two most commercially important crops, accounting for more than 40% of global food production. They were domesticated in different climates and differ largely in their growth environments: Rice is tropically cultivated in hot, wet climates, whereas wheat tends to be grown in cooler temperate climates. However, both crops have been bred i...

متن کاملWinter Wheat Grain Yield and Grain Nitrogen as Influenced by Bed and Conventional Planting Systems
Bed planted wheat systems offer a new alternative for the traditional wheat producer to provide opportunities for crop rotation, more efficient use of water, and new techniques of nutrient management. This study was conducted to determine if planting winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) in Oklahoma on raised beds can maintain grain yields while providing more options in the cropping system. Expe...
متن کاملThe effect of post-anthesis water supply on grain nitrogen concentration and grain nitrogen yield of winter wheat
The effect of water supply during grain growth on grain nitrogen concentration (GNC) and grain nitrogen yield (GNY) of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) was studied in the field experiment on fertile loamy-clay soil in years 2004–2007. The water regime was differentiated using mobile rain shelter (water shortage, treatment S) and drip irrigation (ample water supply, treatment W); rain-fed cro...
